Terms & Conditions of Sale

Please review the following terms and conditions carefully, and check them periodically for changes. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions, you should not review information or obtain goods, services or products from our store. 1. PAYMENT
a) A 50% Deposit is required on all ordered items.
b) All balances must be paid 7 days prior to the agreed delivery date or otherwise delivery will be postponed until the next available delivery date. Allied Home Interiors requires two weeks notice to arrange an order for delivery.
c) Items purchased from stock must be collected or delivered within 2 months of purchase date.
d) Ordered items must be collected or delivered within 14 days of notification or arrival.

 

2. DELIVERY
a) On ordered items, estimated lead time are given based on past experience. This is an estimate and Allied Home Interiors cannot be held responsible for manufacturer, shipping or customs delays.
b) Any item which cannot be delivered within our specific time frame through no fault of Allied Home Interiors will incur a storage charge of 5% of the purchase price per day.
c) Delivery and assembly charges may apply.
d) a re-delivery charge will apply if goods were loaded and could not be delivered by Allied Home Interiors through no fault of Allied Home Interiors.
e) We regret that we are unable to give a specific time for delivery.
f) If you need to change the delivery address of your order please contact the sales person. A delivery cannot be cancelled on the day of delivery as your docket has already been sent to our warehouse and loaded.
g) We will not deliver any goods if access is denied or it is not possible to carry out a safe delivery.
h) If you require your furniture to be delivered into your house or a specific room we are happy to do so within reason. However, Allied Home Interiors or any Allied Home Interiors employee cannot accept any liability for any damage that might occur to the furniture or property.
i) A charge may apply at the discretion of the items should they not fit in your door, necessitating when possible the dismantling or re-assembly of the furniture.
j) Any item/s for assembly – the room must be cleared prior to allow for assembly.

 

3. CANCELLATIONS
a) A collection and restocking charge of 30% of the purchase price in item/s in question will apply on goods that are delivered and seals broken.
b) A collection and restocking charge of 20% of the purchase price in item/s in question will apply on goods that are delivered and still left intact in their original packaging.
c) The balance will be refunded by credit note only. This is applicable on stock items only.
d) No order may be cancelled without our agreement. Your deposit will be forfeited on any orders we are unable to cancel or alter.
e) A charge of 20% of the purchase price will apply to any cancellation. The balance remaining will be refunded by credit note only.
f) We also have the right to retain any charge paid for services which have already begun or been completed and any other restocking or handling charges under the condition of our refund policy above.

 

4. COLLECTIONS

a) All items to be collected must be paid in full at the time of purchase and original invoice must be presented at collection point and stamped otherwise no goods can be exchanged.
b) Allied Home Interiors or any Allied Home Interiors employee accepts no responsibility for any damages that may occur when loading goods into a customer vehicles.
c) Items must be inspected at point of collection and signing off is an acceptance that the goods are correct and perfect.

 

5. DAMAGE

Customers must report any damage, i.e. scratches, dents, tears, soiling, etc, within 72 hours of delivery. It is important that each item is carefully and thoroughly inspected by you or your authorised agent immediately upon delivery. Allied Home Interiors will not be responsible for any damage not reported within 72 hours of delivery. The period for product replacement is governed by the availability of the product and the time duration within which a replacement can be obtained. 6. COLOUR VARIATION
Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to ensure colour matches, fabric and leather may vary due to dye lot variations. Leather and wood products will by their nature be subject to grain variations. All removable suite must be cleaned at the same time in order to avoid colour variations. Allied Home Interiors will not be responsible for colour variations in the event that matching items are not purchased together. 7. WARRANTIES
a) While we advise you of the manufacturers reputation, quality and design, the actual choice and selection is the customers responsibility. We warrant that all merchandise will be delivered in a condition which meets the standards set by the manufacture.
b) No warranty or change of terms and conditions expressed or implied shall be valid unless documented on this contract and approved by management.
c) Except in the case of personal injury and death directly attributable to the actions of Allied Home Interiors, the liability of Allied Home Interiors shall not exceed €200.
d) Your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Service Act 1981 are not affected.

 

 

8. OWNERSHIP
The goods remain at the sole property of Allied Home Interiors until payment has been received at which time the title passes to you. 9. GENERAL
a) Allied Home Interiors products are intended for domestic use only.
b) Customer information will be retained by the Allied Home Interiors Marketing Department and will be added to our database to be used for mailing lists and text messaging. We may also pass the information we collect to other companies within our group for administrative purposes. We may also use third parties to carry out some of these roles and other activities.
c) Please check your order for errors and omissions.
d) To the fullest extend permitted by applicable law, under no circumstances, including, but not limited to, negligence, shall we be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the delivery or collection of product/s, any material or data sent or received or not sent or received or for any of the above-mentioned damages that result from the use or inability to use the product/s. In no circumstances shall our liability and that of our suppliers to you and/or any third parties for any of the above exceed €200.
